Try downloading it directly from a browser instead of using the app. It looks like the itch.io client can't download unclaimable games with 100% discount.

Thank you so much! Glad to hear you're enjoying the game so far. Did you have fun with the gameplay? As for the card art, it's actually a bit of a process we developed in-house. The card visuals are digitally generated through a model we put together with some manual editing on top of that. For the Steam version, we’ve also included an option to switch to a new hand-drawn design in the menu, giving it a more handcrafted touch.
Yeah I liked the gameplay and story actually, I didn't finish the demo, because I had to work but it's really interesting. But sadly I don't think I'll play the game because of the art being generated, still great mechanics and story!

Which platform are you using? Have you run into any errors?

Do you have Vulkun drivers installed?
Is your gpu drivers up to date with latest update?
Also if you can tell me your hardware specs and your version of windows? Did you tried compatibility mode or run as administrator option?
all my drivers are up to date, I have no idea if I have Vulkun drivers installed, and as the owner of the PC I always run as admin, and it just crashes. I even updated my GPU drivers. and still nothing :/

Edit: We're happy to share that we addressed the glitch affecting the 13th boss fight on Windows now.
Thanks so much for playing! We're really sorry if you ran into any bugs. It looks like the 13th boss had an issue on Windows, but we're on it and will fix it as soon as possible. In the meantime, remember to save your progress and use the pause menu to skip through stages.
As for the audio effect, that's intentional—the character cut off your earlobes, so you're a bit deaf now! But if it’s not your thing, you can turn it off in the pause menu too.

Ever since I played Cherophobia, I've wanted to play more from this indie team. While I think the card game is unique and adds some kind of gameplay value, it's definitely not my cup of tea. I enjoyed playing the game more for the story and wish I was able to progress further, but the punishment to remove the player's hearing, which I'd like to say was creative, gave me a headache over time. As I've suggested in my playthrough, an option to disable that would be nice. Overall, it's story and writing is great and I did enjoy playing it nonetheless. I'm sure someone within the horror niche would really appreciate the card gimmick.

i've played all the games of this studio n every game got a lot better, this is a solid 8/10 game and also a goophy one, in a good way, althouth i'm not a fan of card games, but the story and main villian is really well written. another cool thing is the philosophical theme of the last game(more than just philosophical them actually) is still there.
