This update brings all Steam functionalities to the Itch version! If you run into any errors or bugs related to using the Steam version’s features, please let us know.
We’ve been hard at work fine-tuning the gameplay experience to make it more balanced and enjoyable than ever. These changes were made with your fun and challenge in mind, enhancing your roguelike deck-building journey all the way to Level 13.
Alongside gameplay improvements, we’ve also fixed a few pesky bugs and added some quality-of-life tweaks like ensuring you can now retry after a total defeat and pick up right where you left off.
It’s the perfect time to jump back in and see if you can beat him… eventually. Put your strategy to the test and see if you can outsmart the unpredictable odds stacked against you!
Bug Fixes

Resolved an issue where the pause menu wouldn’t focus properly on Steam Deck.

Fixed a minor controller bug affecting one dialogue sequence.

Addressed a leaderboard bug that prevented some top players from being displayed.

Fixed an issue on Steam Deck where skipping the tutorial could prevent gameplay until restarting.
Improvements and Balancing

Adjusted the order of tutorial dialogue choices to help players avoid unintended selections.

Replaced manual saves as the sole option with a new auto-save feature.

Prevented certain events from being unintentionally re-triggered.

Retrying after losing completely now lets players continue from the last stage they reached.

Added the ability to click to navigate back in the menu.
Balancing Changes

Increased the player’s starting health.

Tweaked enemy poise for better balance.

Adjusted enemy level-ups to reduce their attack and defense progression.

Added more powerful cards for players to choose from for their deck.
